Welcome to your gateway to Gidgits guruland. This is the part of the site where the Gidgits crew and girls from throughout Queensland will share their skills and knowledge in ICT's. You will be able to complete tutorials on everything from game development and programming to 3D animation. You can submit your own tutorials for this section to the gidgits crew via email or you can put your suggestions of what you would like to see in this section in our feedback form. Remember
This month you can learn how to use Flash MX to create 2D animation and a fun Gidgits Fashion Game like the one below. Move your mouse over the outfits and click and drag them to dress Gidgit Girl in the outfit you think would make her have style! It's not that hard to make - so have a go at the tutorial and soon you'll have your very own game!
You'll need to download a trial version of Flash MX from the downloads section at the Macromedia site at http://www.macromedia.com/ or will need a computer with it already installed.
To be able to do the Flash MX Style Game tutorial, you'll need to first learn the basics, so complete the tutorials in the order below if you are new to Flash.
Have fun and remember that every time you use a program you get better - so don't worry if your drawings are a bit dodgy to start with.. Gidgits have to start somewhere.
